The Home Inspection Report
The goal of an inspection by an independent professional home inspector is to identify potentially significant expenses that would affect a typical purchaser’s buying decision. Most Buyers will make their Offer to Purchase “subject to a satisfactory home inspection” and, to be safe rather than sorry, some Sellers may have an inspection before putting their home on the market. The Seller can then make the necessary repairs ahead of time in order to get the property sold faster and potentially for more money.
A home inspection generally ranges around $500, depending on the complexities of the inspection & the size of the home.
